Braeside Environmental Park, Wetland Bird Watching Tour
Pictures: Chris DoughtyBraeside Park is a large environmental park of 295 hectares, situated in the suburbs of southeast Melbourne. It is a large expanse of red gum woodlands and beautiful wetlands. We will spend the morning birding along the wetland trail, where we should see approximately 60 - 70 species of birds, which could include Australasian Grebe, Yellow-billed Spoonbill, Australasian Shoveler, Hardhead, Blue-billed Duck, Little Eagle, Pied Stilt, Red-kneed Dotterel, Crested Pigeon, Red-rumped Parrot, Golden-headed Cisticola, Scarlet Robin, Superb Fairywren and Grey Butcherbird.
Half Day Tour - Costs $350 for 1 or 2 people, an additional person would be an extra $100
