Phillip Island Bird Watching Tour
Photographs: Chris DoughtyPhillip Island is located 140 kilometres south-east of Melbourne, and has a breathtaking coastline of towering headlands, beautiful beaches and tidal rock pools. It is critically important to both resident and migratory birds, some of which, fly thousands of kilometres to forage along its coastline. The range-restricted Cape Barren Goose now breeds throughout the Island. We can expect to see between 50 and 70 species, depending on the time of year. Including Australasian Gannet, Black-faced Cormorant, Royal Spoonbill, Cape Barren Goose, Musk Duck, Swamp Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, Sooty Oystercatcher, Masked Lapwing, Pacific Gull, Greater Crested Tern, Superb Fairy Wren, White-eared Honeyeater, Little Wattlebird, Grey Butcherbird and Grey Currawong. ,
Full Day Tour - Cost $500 for 1 or 2 people, and additional person would be an extra $250

Drinks and snacks are included. On full day tours we encourage clients to bring their own lunch, as we will not be close to shops.
